Climate Action·Environmental Stewardship
Climate Action & Tree Planting
About This Initiative
With less than 5% forest cover remaining in Pakistan and rising extreme heatwave frequencies in Multan and South Punjab, active climate stewardship is an urgent moral and humanitarian duty.WISH has launched an ongoing greening drive with an immediate target of 500 indigenous shade and fruit trees planted in schools, public hospital grounds, and community spaces. Our volunteers adopt every sapling, establishing drip or basin irrigation routines to ensure survival rates exceed 85% rather than merely planting seeds for cameras.
Core Objectives & Standards
How we execute with local dignity
Plant indigenous, drought-tolerant neem, moringa, and peepal trees
Educate schoolchildren and youth forums on water conservation and plastic reduction
Form community stewardship circles responsible for post-planting sapling survival
Verified Impact Protocol
Every distribution is audited by volunteer leads in Multan. Direct beneficiaries are registered with dignity, ensuring zero duplication and strict compliance with Islamic charity guidelines.
